Ingredients
- 500g Braising Steak
 
- 2 Onions
 
- 1 Beef Stock Cube
 
- 1 pt Water
 
- 2 tbsp Gravy Powder
 
- Plain Flour
 
- Cornflour
 
- Serve with Mashed Potatoes or Brown Rice
 
Method
- Coat the steak in plain flour. Sauté onions then add steak and brown both sides of the meat really well.
 
- Make stock, add gravy powder and mix. Pour into the pan and ensure the meat is covered.
 
- Cover with the lid and cook on low heat for at least two hours, turning occasionally. Alternatively, leave in slow cooker.
 
- Before serving, thicken the gravy with cornflour.
