Chicken Gyros

Ingredients
Chicken Marinade
- 500g Chicken Breast, cut into fillets
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 2 tsp Cumin
- 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp Ground Tumeric
- 1 tsp Ground Coriander
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- Pinch Chilli Flakes
Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 cup Greek yoghurt
- 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp Dried Dill
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cucumber, finely diced
For serving
- 6 Pitta or flatbreads
- Cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cucumber, finely sliced
- French fries
Method
- Add the chicken to a zip lock bag with the marinade ingredients. Stir well to coat and leave for 1-4 hours.
- Make the tzatziki sauce by combining all the ingredients. Refrigerate.
- Heat the grill to medium and oil the grates. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off.
- Grill the chicken for 7 minutes each side until cooked. Chop into bite-sized pieces.
- Toast and open the pittas. Stuff with cucumber, tzatziki, chicken, and fries.
