Pork Chops with Onions

Ingredients
- Pork Loin steaks
- 4-5 large onions
- 3 tablespoons marmite
- Salt and pepper
- At least 3 potatoes per person
- Petit pois or green veg to serve
Method
- Cover the bottom of a large glass dish with chopped onions in an even layer. Peel and chop the potatoes and place on top. Place the pork chops on top of the potatoes.
- Boil about 2.5 pints of water and mix in the marmite. Pour over the pork, but leave about a ¼ of a pint in reserve to top up later if necessary. The meat should be covered and the dish full.
- Cook in the oven for about an hour and ten minutes. Turn the meat over halfway through cooking and add the reserved water if needed.
